Welcome the Ferndale Community Service Cooperative website. Here you can learn about our 8 programs and how they serve the community of Ferndale, make a donation, or get in touch for services. We are glad you’re here!

The Resource Center and Donation Bin will be CLOSED Monday April 12th- Friday April 17th

Work continues on the building, and during this time period the roof will be replaced and asbestos abatement procedures will be in place. No one is allowed in or around the building until this work is done. We will reopen on Monday, April 19th. Thank you for holding your donations and visits until then.

The 2020 Annual report is here!

2020 was a challenging year in many ways, but wow, we did amazing work together, Ferndale! Please check out our 2020 Annual Report to learn about the impacts and outcomes of the Cooperative, and each of its member programs.

Need help with your water bill? The Ferndale Community Utilities Fund still has funds available!- APPLY HERE

Do you need assistance paying for your City of Ferndale Water/Sewer bill? Have you been negatively impacted by COVID? Please apply to our program! The income limits are high ($6550 a month for a family of 4), and the grant amounts are generous. We are able to provide this assistance because of the generosity of our community and some amazing funders: The Mary H Storer Foundation and Whatcom Community Foundation’s Resiliency Fund. THANK YOU!

Volunteers Needed!

The Community Service Cooperative has many volunteer opportunities! We are currently accepting applications for new board members, recruiting for helpers at the Resource Center, and always keep a list of interested volunteers for one-off projects. If you are interested in making an impact in Ferndale, please contact Sara O’Connor at oconnsara@gmail.com for more information. If you’re interested in volunteering at the Resource Center, please contact Terri Temple at coordinator@ferndalecsc.org, or call 360-380-2200.
